Marisa is the mother of two daughters and a Menstrual Health Therapist dedicated to supporting girls and women in understanding and reclaiming their bodies. Her work weaves together the healing benefits of Abdominal Therapy, the deep self-knowing that comes through Menstrual Cycle Awareness, and the body literacy gained from Fertility Awareness. She supports women who want to understand their cycles, heal imbalances, reconnect with their wombs, and naturally avoid pregnancy.

Marisa feels honoured to meet women at some of the most vulnerable points in their lives — moments of hopelessness, frustration, or feeling like surgery or hormonal birth control are their only remaining options. Witnessing their transformation in body, mind, and spirit as she works together with you is one of the greatest privileges of her life. Saving uteruses from unnecessary hysterectomies and empowering women to trust, honour, and take pride in their naturally cycling bodies is at the heart of her mission.

Everything Marisa teaches is rooted in her own lived experience. These teachings helped her to heal heavy and painful periods, release birth trauma, uncover gut imbalances, and chart a path back to vitality. They’ve given her the confidence to navigate her health with clarity and to avoid pregnancy naturally through fertility awareness.

Marisa is deeply grateful to teach Abdominal Therapy. This work supports the entire body through gentle, precise techniques for the abdomen, pelvis, and spine. Within this therapy are keys that help us reach the root causes of imbalance and cultivate long-term, radiant health and vitality.

Marisa lives in the Hampshire countryside in the UK with her husband, their two daughters, and their miniature dachshund. She travels often to the land of her birth and childhood — Zambia — which remains a deep source of grounding and connection for her. She loves getting lost in a good novel, restoring herself in nature, and finding joy through salsa dancing, swimming, yoga, and sipping tea with friends.
