New Practitioners

Ellie Tapper (pictured above)

We’re delighted to have been able to find a new osteopath to join our team – with fewer people training, finding good practitioners can be difficult. Ellie Tapper is working closely with Carina Petter, our senior osteopath, and is at The Centre on a Monday morning and a Wednesday afternoon. Ellie developed a deep fascination with movement and performance during her training in contemporary dance at Trinity Laban. This inspired her interest in the mechanics of the human body and a drive to understand how we function. This passion continues to shape her approach to osteopathy and Pilates, combining clinical expertise with a practical understanding of how the body functions.

Ellie has experience treating people of all ages and loves helping people get back to their chosen activity, be it high level sport or daily activities such as gardening. However, her particular interest is working with performing artists.

Aoife Saltmarsh (pictured below)

Adding a whole new expertise to the team, Aoife Saltmarsh spent the last 8 years working in the NHS as a physician associate at the National Spinal Injuries Centre, supporting cord injured people from acute injury, elective surgical care to discharge and outpatients clinics.

Having left the NHS, Aoife returned to manual therapy (Aoife originally trained and worked as an osteopath for a decade), combining their musculoskeletal skills with the knowledge they learned in medicine and now has the privilege of helping a wide range of people, from elite and every day athletes to families and chair users. Aoife is at The Centre on a Friday afternoon.
