Working from The Centre

The Centre is a uniquely collaborative practice where practitioners build sustainable and long-term businesses. We have a fantastic team of receptionists who are knowledgeable and can speak to clients and potential clients from experience about a range of different alternative and complementary therapies. When you are in the clinic, you can concentrate on your clients, confident that the reception team will be answering calls, booking appointments and taking payments on your behalf.

We have a range of treatment rooms for therapists to work from.Room rates are based on size. All rooms have sinks and either an osteopathic couch or the option of a portable couch. Rooms can be modified to suit different modalities. Rooms 1, 2 and 3 are the larger rooms, room 4 is large and overlooks the bowling green and rooms 5 and 6 are the smaller rooms, both overlooking the bowling green. Rooms 1, 2, 4 and 5 have hydraulic couches and Room 3 has a roof light. All rooms have opening windows/roof lights.

It is The Centre’s policy to balance the treatments on offer so that clients have a broad choice of different options.

In a survey carried out in 2020 our clients were clear that what they really valued about The Centre is the relationships that they build with practitioners and so we are keen that anyone who joins us is interested in building a practice in the medium to longer term.

The protocol we developed during Covid met all the requirements of a healthcare setting, enabling many of our therapists to continue to work throughout. As part of that The Centre invested in HEPA filtration units to ensure good air quality.

Therapists are all self employed, licensing rooms on a regular session basis. The minimum is 1 session a week with a session being 9am to 1pm or 2pm to 6pm. It is possible to extend afternoon sessions into the evening. For practitioners who are building a practice from scratch or looking to increase their sessions, we offer a low-cost way to do that. The Centre gets enquiries based on the fact that we are an established practice known for our high calibre practitioners but ultimately practitioners are responsible for attracting their own clients.

We now also have a studio which will comfortably accommodate 6-8 clients for small group work. The focus for this space is that clients get individual attention.
