Hot Stone Massage

Hot Stone Massage at The Centre:
Caroline Bonney

Hot Stone Massage dates back over 3000 years when it was used in ancient India and China, as well as being used by North American Indians.

It is the use of heated, volcanic basalt stones which are incorporated into a slow, rhythmical massage routine.

Hot Stone Massage is a ritual which provides deep relaxation, balance and healing.

The stones provide a broad, even pressure and, combined with the heat, encourages tense muscles to soften, easing physical stress. The heat nurtures the soul and melts away emotional stress allowing the mind and body to heal. This de-stressing gives energy back to the body and invigorates.

This is a deep detox massage and it is strongly advised that you do not drink alcohol or otherwise overindulge for 24 hours before and after treatment.
